You will find a range of external expert organisations, who exist to provide support that will empower you and your households in times of difficulty. Support ranges from money management including a benefit calculator to free confidential counselling.

The Trussell Trust supports a nationwide network of over 1,300 food banks which provide a minimum of three days’ nutritionally-balanced emergency food to people who have been referred in crisis. To access a food bank you need to be referred by one of the food bank’s local referral partners which include health workers, charities, social workers and advice centres. Free, one to one, culturally relevant therapy for Black people in the UK. Black Minds Matter UK is a fully registered charity connecting Black individuals and families with free therapy by qualified and accredited Black therapists.
