Healthy leadership in nursing during COVID-19
The Healthfulness in Leadership in Nursing (HeaLiN) project
The RCN Foundation is funding a research team at Queen Margaret University to explore nurses’ and midwives’ experience of leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly looking at what forms of leadership have aided the health and wellbeing of nursing staff.
To gather feedback from nursing and midwifery staff from Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England, the research team sought feedback via an online survey in January 2022 through to May 2022.
Survey responses from UK-registered nurses or midwives working during the COVID-19 pandemic form the basis of the research findings.
